We are a CPA firm looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper who will work out of our DTC office to maintain accounting records for multiple clients and companies.
The job responsibilities include working closely with our clients to manage their monthly accounting needs. Must be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Payroll, Xero and Office 365.
Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Enter data, and maintain records related to financial statements
Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheet
Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable records and process corresponding transactions
Process payroll in a timely manner and make entries for payroll and tax payments
Post year-end journal entries
Ability to prepare individual and/or corporate tax returns a plus
Requirements:
Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve day to day accounting issues for multiple clients on a daily basis
Prior experience at an accounting firm or experience with multiple accounts, bank accounts and clients preferred
Proficient at calculating and processing sales & use tax payments and quarterly payroll reports
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Must be able to prepare Year-End journal entries and reclassifications
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Office 365
Experience with tax preparation software, preferably UltraTax
Customer service oriented High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
