This restaurant located in Breckenridge, Colorado is looking for a Kitchen Manager to fulfill the following roles and responsibilities:
Hires, discharges, trains and evaluates back-of-the-house personnel.
Creates the staff schedule and works diligently to meet labor cost goals.
Counsels, coaches and mentor’s kitchen staff to promote departmental goals.
Purchases or requisitions food items, kitchen supplies, equipment and ensures cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
Plans or participates in menu planning and food production including evaluating food surpluses to control food costs.
Samples, smells and observes food preparation methods to ensure conformance to recipes and standards of appearance and taste.
Informs front-of-the-house personnel of menu changes, specials and shortages.
Meets with staff, customers or client groups to plan special menus.
Works various positions as well as expo as needed
Nice-to-have:
Prior experience with Toast/XtraChef
Speaks Spanish
Technical knowledge of inventory management
Enjoys improving processes and finding ways to save
This job requires living in the Summit County/Breckenridge area.
Moving costs can be negotiated if moving is necessary.
