The 49th Food & Spirits, a neighborhood bar and restaurant featuring Alaskan inspired food and drinks, is looking for a full time lead line cook at our Southwest Denver location. Our ideal candidate will help lead our BOH team with a positive attitude while completing the following duties.
Duties to be completed in a 40-45 hour workweek include:
Placing product orders, properly checking in and storing product, ensuring quality product is delivered, and maintaining communication with food distribution representatives.
Creating and executing weekly, monthly, and seasonal specials that are profitable and on brand.
Daily prep and line cooking responsibilities.
Maintaining a well organized and clean BOH space.
Adhering to public health code and ensuring staff is trained on proper methods and procedures. ServSafe Manager certification will be required within 60 days of hire.
