Felt Bar & Billiards is looking for a line cook and/or prep cook. We are located at 101 W. Floyd Ave. Englewood, CO.
Experienced cook wanted for night and weekend shifts. Must have at least 2 years experience in a fast paced kitchen. Experience with American, Italian, and Mexican food preferred.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum two years experience preparing food in the following methods: Roast, broil, braise, sauce, fry, grill.
One year experience in a high volume workplace. Formal culinary training may be substituted at an equivalent rate.
Capable of working multiple positions (fry, grill, flat top, pizza oven, pantry)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient portioning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
