Who You Are
We’re looking for a positive, professional, and self-driven leader who is passionate about producing the highest-quality meals for families across the Denver area. This role involves supervising and training kitchen staff, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Operations team, and upholding strict health and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of culinary expertise and management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Manage inventory, order supplies, and support effective food cost control
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new menu development and execution
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning kitchen at all times
Support training efforts to enhance team skill levels and performance
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership position
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Creativity and passion for food quality and presentation
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required
Genuine enthusiasm for healthy cooking and serving families
Requirements
Availability: 20–25 hours per week (Sunday–Tuesday)
3–5 years of professional kitchen experience
English fluency with basic Spanish preferred
Self-driven, positive attitude, and high level of professionalism
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed
