We are currently looking for a new member of our growing team. Our family owned small animal general practice in Evergreen is actively seeking a full or part time registered veterinary technician ready to utilize the skills you've worked so hard to acquire!
Our ideal candidate is comfortable and proficient in the following:
All aspects of anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Venipuncture including IV catheter placement
Obtaining correctly positioned radiographs
Medication preparation and administration both injectable and oral
Triaging patients both in person and over the phone
Restraining all sizes and personalities of cats, dogs, and the occasional pocket pet or chicken
Guiding clients through general preventative maintenance
Recognizing common illnesses, diagnostics, and treatments
Client education
Communicating with clients as well as team members
Depending upon the interests of the candidate, increased responsibility (and compensation) may be available for taking on a few human resource tasks.
Compensation: $23-27/hr
