As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Construction Technician at Elevation Basements, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects. This position involves a range of responsibilities, including project checklist completion, maintaining job site cleanliness, material and tool staging, and actively participating in construction tasks such as framing, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, drywall installation, interior trim/hardware installation, and concrete work.
Responsibilities
Complete project checklists to ensure project progress and compliance with quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Stage materials and tools for construction projects, ensuring availability and accessibility for the team.
Pick up materials for projects from designated suppliers and vendors as needed.
Engage in light framing, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC tasks, drywall installation, interior trim/hardware installation, and concrete work as well as any tasks needed/assigned by construction manager.
Complete end of project punch-list items efficiently and effectively.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a high standard of work quality throughout construction projects.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and goals.
Qualifications:
Previous hands-on experience in construction, preferably in residential projects.
Familiarity with various construction trades, including framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, interior trim/hardware, and concrete work.
Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced construction environment.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, reliable means of communication.
