About the role
We are looking for a hardworking Shop Assistant to join our floral team. This position is hands on and fast paced. You will spend most of your time helping prepare flowers, keeping the shop organized, and assisting designers with production. If you enjoy staying active and working in a creative environment, this job is for you.
What you will do
Unpack and process flower shipments
Condition and prep stems for designers
Keep buckets clean and filled with fresh water
Maintain cooler organization and shop cleanliness
Sweep, mop, and take out trash as needed
Restock supplies and materials for designers
Assist with packaging and staging orders for delivery
Move boxes, buckets, and arrangements as required
What you bring
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work on your feet all day
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical work
Dependable, on time, and willing to follow direction
A positive attitude and good teamwork skills
No floral experience required, training provided
Schedule and pay
Part time or full time available
Must be available weekends and holidays during peak floral times
Pay based on experience
