Hobby Farm Workamper Opportunity – Bennett, Colorado
Looking for a peaceful part-time opportunity on a small hobby farm? We’re offering an RV site (with hookups) in exchange for help with light farm duties and property upkeep. We just moved to 35 acres just outside of town, and need help to get the hobby farm into shape and up and running.

- Flexible hours – some daily responsibilities, a few large projects, this is a part-time job overall and could be worked in addition to a job elsewhere

Duties Include:
- Fence and gate repair and pasture maintenance as necessary
- Closing animal holes in fencing
- Mowing
- Partnering with owner to eliminate unwanted animals
- Maintenance of pasture areas (could include seeding or filling holes, etc)
- General animal care (feeding, watering, and cleaning for a few cows, pigs, and chickens)
- Stall, pen, and lean-to cleaning
- Light maintenance and chores around the property
Ideal For:
- Retired or semi-retired individuals or couples traveling with their own RV
- Workampers looking duties in exchange for site and utilities
- Folks who enjoy working outdoors and around animals
Compensation:
- RV site with water, electricity, sewer, and internet in exchange for your work on-site (details briefly described above), and $400 toward utilities. To clarify, you will pay $400 a month, and will work the tasks listed or those agreed upon during our negotiations.
- Work a flexible schedule outdoors with a few animals (7 chickens, 3 cows, pigs TBD)
- Be close to the city, and a million miles away from city-life.
