We are a small Professional Land Surveying Firm with 12 employees that is in need of an Administrative Assistant to help manage the office side of the business. We need administrative support for owner and project managers.
This is not a remote work situation. Normal hours are 9:30am to 2:30am - or a different time frame maybe possible if it fits your situation better.
Duties and responsibilities
Professionally answering phone calls
Responding to customer concerns
Client management
Filing
Working with the owner to get surveys recorded at various counties
You will also be handling the mail.
Running Errands, Making deposits(a company vehicle is available for these trips - you will not be required to use your own vehicle - must have a good driving record - a DMV and criminal background check is required)
We use PC and Android systems, (we are not Apple based)
Internet searches for information for projects(research for surveys)
Creating forms for company usage.
Typing occasional letters.
(this does not require any payroll or accounting work from you)
This position requires you be a self starter and work to improve office and business efficiency
Qualifications:
Effective Customer Service Skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Organization
Punctuality and effective time management
Ability to work with a small office group and create a positive team environment
Basic computer skills (most of our work is done through online platforms which are user friendly, but require basic computer knowledge)
Knowledge of MS office programs
Problem solving capabilities
