Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Construction Assistant to join our team.
Duties:
- Answer phones, schedule meetings, and manage office supplies
- Prepare project budgets, bookkeeping, and invoicing
- Process payroll tasks, monitor employee sick leaves and PTO, and resolve payroll errors
- Maintain employee databases, compile and process employee documentation, and update employee records.
- Assist the HR manager with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, and communicate updates to employees
- Address employee concerns and help to foster positive relationships within the workplace
- Entering data into the QuickBooks Online
- Recording bank deposits, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports
- Performing other clerical tasks as needed
Skills:
- Two years’ experience on QuickBooks Online
- Bilingual is a MUST (Spanish/English)
- Strong administrative skills to assist with documentation and reporting tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Google Suite applications, for scheduling and documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with construction tools and safety practices is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
