Administrative Assistant — B&L Roofing Inc.
B&L Roofing Inc. is hiring a dependable, organized Administrative Assistant to support our office and keep operations running smoothly. This is an on-site role for someone comfortable with permit processing, filing, CRM upkeep, and helping wherever needed.
What you’ll do
- Pull and submit building permits with local municipalities and agencies
- Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and digital files (contracts, permits, invoices)
- Enter and update client and job information in our CRM accurately and promptly
- Respond to basic phone/email inquiries; route messages to appropriate team members
- Support project coordinators and office staff with administrative tasks as requested
- Schedule inspections, meetings, and follow-ups; track deadlines and renewals
- Dispatching sub-contractors to projects as needed
- Work with Project Manager with customer repairs when service calls come in
Qualifications (preferred but not required)
- 1–3 years administrative experience; construction or trades office experience preferred
- Familiarity with permit processes and local building department procedures
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient with CRMs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Reliable, proactive, able to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Bi-lingual is a plus but not required
