Skyline Spirits is looking for a friendly, kind, honest, and hard-working individual who likes to bring a little joy into people's days. We are a small, busy store that gets heavy foot traffic, especially on weekends. We have been a part of our neighborhood for over 45 years and greatly value our relationships with our customers. We work hard to maintain those relationships and our reputation in our community. We expect you to work hard and, once you get up to speed, be self-directed in accomplishing the multitude of tasks required to keep this business humming.
Required:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Have knowledge of, and enjoy drinking, beer, wine, and spirits, and be able to talk to customers about our products and make recommendations.
Be friendly and welcoming to all customers, and work to maintain and develop relationships with regulars.
Be patient and honest and value maintaining a laid-back and fun atmosphere.
Be able to lift and carry 30-pound cases up and down stairs.
Be able to move quickly during busy times and maintain a positive attitude when dealing with everyday stress.
We are looking for someone who can work 3p-10p Thursdays through Mondays (2p-8p Sundays), with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. You will work 35 hours per week but get paid for 40 hours. Your schedule will be the same every week, so you will be able to make plans for your time off.
We offer an employee discount and two weeks paid time off per year after 3 months of employment. Store hours are Mon-Sat 10-10 and Sun 10-8.
