Elevation Motors and Elevation Auto Spa are looking for another team member. Must have a positive attitude, be reliable, able to follow direction and work well with others with a team first mentality.
We are currently looking for a full time experienced detailer. Candidates without considerable detailing experience will not be considered. The job description will include, but not be limited to:
Day to day aspects of the shop.
- First and foremost, detailing of vehicles
- Tracking time spent on each detail
- Maintaining a clean shop
- Occasionally presenting a finished car to a client
- Moving cars around shop
Skills required are detailing of vehicles with experience in various aspects of paint correction and use of tools and techniques associated with interior and exterior reconditioning of vehicles to high level of professionalism in a timely manner. Wet sanding and touching up scratches and paint imperfections such as dirt nibs, sanding marks, fish eyes etc. Proficiency with both buffers and high speed rotary polishers. Application of Ceramic coatings. Being comfortable raising vehicles on lifts and removing of wheels. Removal of small parts such as brake calipers, step bars etc. and prepping/painting them with basic spray cans.
Starting pay will vary depending on experience and work history, but we pay well for people who are good at what they do and reliable. The individuals we will consider would start at a minimum of $20/hr or possibly more depending on experience. Our detailers do receive tips and benefits (health care, Paid time off, employee discounts, etc.) as well on top of the hourly pay. Hours are somewhat flexible, but will be full time Mon-Fri around 9-5 or 10-6. All major holidays we are closed. We are a busy shop, but we are not a high volume shop. Very professional but laid back atmosphere.
Must have a Valid driver's license with a decent driving record and reliable personal transportation, be at least 21 (insurance purposes) and must know how to drive a manual transmission.
Because the position includes removal of smoke odor from vehicles who's owners may have allergies, applicants must be a non tobacco user. Knowledge of and expertise of various makes and models with prior experience in high line vehicles is highly preferred but not necessary. We have a high standard of integrity, and expect that as well as honesty from all applicants.
