Shop Tech / General Help (Part-Time, 1099 Contractor)

We’re Savage Campervan & RV — a shop that lives and breathes van and RV upgrades. Lift kits, roof extensions, electrical, interiors, off-grid systems — you name it, we build it. The work’s hands-on, never boring, and we take pride in doing it right.
We’re looking for a solid shop hand who isn’t afraid to get dirty, keep the place moving, and lend a hand wherever needed. If you’ve got wiring knowledge — think off-road lights, stereos, batteries, solar, or general 12v systems — that’s a big plus. But more than anything, we want someone reliable who can help keep projects rolling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-General shop work — cleaning, organizing tools, tracking parts
-Helping with campervan and RV repairs and upgrades
-Assisting on suspension, mechanical, and electrical installs (experience = more pay)
-Supporting the team so jobs stay on track
-What We’re Looking For
-Basic mechanical know-how and comfort with tools
-Wiring or electrical knowledge = bonus points
-Can work independently without babysitting
-Shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail
-Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
Things Nice to Have:
-Experience working on vans, RVs, or custom builds
-Suspension or drivetrain knowledge
-Any certifications (cool, but not required)
