Who We Are
Mechanic Project is a small family owned and operated Automotive Repair Shop. We service all make and models from compact vehicles to light duty trucks while offering bumper to bumper services including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, general maintenance, electrical, chassis/suspension etc. Our success stems from offering the ultimate customer service experience package which includes attention to detail, honesty, cleanliness, and proficiency.
What we bring to the table:
Don’t like Mondays? Don’t worry about it, we are closed. Shop hours are Tuesday- Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.
Flexibility. Do you have a life outside of work? We understand and offer flexibility when needed. In addition, we work 4 ten hour shifts allowing employees to take 3 days off. We are closed Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
Paid Time Off: Enjoy one week of PTO following 120 days of employment. We also strive to close the week of Christmas.

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an organized, dependable, and proficient Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and should have solid knowledge of technical tools. As a qualified mechanic, you must provide incredible customer service skills as well as the ability to quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve mechanical problems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles
Analyze and diagnose mechanical & minor electrical issues
Create a plan of action for all repairs
Regularly clean shop area
Ensure a safe, organized, and tidy workspace
Track inventory and work with the Service Advisor to order new parts when required
Explain to the Service Advisor the nature of the repairs required, the plan of action, and the options available to them
Job Requirements & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (required)
3+ years of automotive repair experience
Trade School Certification (preferred but not required)
Must be able to work apart of a team
Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools, online manuals, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work in uncomfortable, physically demanding positions, stand on one’s feet for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Attention to detail
Must value working in a clean shop environment
Clear communicator and excellent customer service skills
Must provide basic tools.Specialty tools are provided
Must be able to pass a full background check
