Job Overview
We're looking for a skilled RV Technician with experience in both 12V DC and AC electrical systems to join our team. If you have a background in vehicle maintenance and repair, especially with electrical work, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and make sure every RV is safe and ready for use. Your skills will be key in maintaining the quality and reliability of our services.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in RVs, with a focus on 12V DC and AC electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake repair, tire service, and plumbing.
Use power tools effectively to assemble and disassemble components.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems, particularly within electrical wiring and components.
Communicate with office staff regarding repair progress and parts needed.
Provide recommendations for customers.
Document all repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably with RVs or similar vehicles.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including 12V DC and AC systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and component failures.
Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Experience with brake repair, tire service, and plumbing is highly desirable.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must have your own tools.
Desired Qualifications
Welding experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Additional certifications related to vehicle or electrical repair are a plus.
