Vintage Car Works is a Porsche restoration shop in Centennial Colorado. We have been growing and currently have more than a three-year backlog of work in-house. As a result, we need an automotive painter that is familiar with single stage and base coat / clear coat paint systems. We specialize in full rotisserie restorations on Porsches and several other European marques. We have a large customer base with multiple clients who have extensive collections.
The successful technician should have at least two years of collision shop painting and three years’ experience painting in a high-end restoration shop.
The technician should be proficient in the following areas:
1. Have fundamental knowledge and experience in mapping out the repair and refinishing process for complete restorations.
2. Cleaning and preparing aluminum and steel body panels for the application of epoxy primer.
3. Applying and uniformly spreading plastic body filler, then block sanding the filler to prepare body panels for priming and painting.
4. Familiarity with fiberglass and / or carbon fiber for the repair of these types of materials whenever needed.
5. Spraying epoxy and acrylic urethane primers.
6. Spraying single stage acrylic urethane paint.
7. Spraying base coat / clear coat paint systems.
8. Wet block sanding and polishing.
We are constantly preparing customer cars to be shown and judged in venues such as Amelia Island, The Quail, Pebble Beach, The Porsche Club of America's National Concours event held during their annual "Porsche Parade," The Greystone Mansion and The Greenwich Festival of Speed and Style. Our cars consistently compete for top honors in their class at their events.

Porsche 356 Carrera's, Porsche 356's, Porsche 901's, 1967 through 1973 Porsche 911's, 427 SC Competition Cobra, Shelby GT 350, Mercedes 280 SL, Pontiac GTO - Resto Mod, Alfa Romeo Lightweight Sprint Veloce and an Alfa Romeo Spider.
