Established Company of 20 years seeking a Production Coordinator. A good candidate could bring many years experience as a painter team lead, painting company owner, or a super/production managers with strong painting background, this is a must because QC is a large component of the job.
For us, what a great production coordinator brings to the table includes setting a customer-centric cultural tone, empowering team members to think and operate independently, managing daily, weekly and monthly production goals, maintaining quality standards and thorough communications for a small business in the remodeling/painting space.
Daily:
Project walk-throughs with Sales, Owner, Team Lead
Ensure wise use and scheduling of resources and labor to produce profitable work
Review proposals/contracts/invoicing to ensure accuracy, timeliness and clear processes
Design and deploy production teams in collaboration with estimator for optimal results
Resolve invoicing hand-offs promptly with bookkeeper
Weekly:
Review timesheets with estimator to ensure accuracy
Oversee and approve AP and AR
Assist and run leadership & training meetings
Monthly
Review monthly financials with owner, leadership team, present solutions as needed to improve profitability, Net Promoter Score
General:
Ensure the right team members are cultivated and the wrong ones are re-introduced to the industry
Inspect/maintain high work quality, initiate training where/when appropriate
Conduct performance reviews
Ensure a work environment for all staff that is positive, supportive, engaging and purposeful.
Oversee disposal of construction waste, hazardous waste
Develop operational redundancy to ensure work can continue despite illness, vacation, etc
