Description of JobWhat you'll be doing:This position is the work lead over 3 other professional auditors within the Section. Assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and work quality, monitoring and scheduling audits/reviews to ensure performance deadlines are met. In addition is responsible for establishing, approving formal audit plans, conducting opening conferences and completing audits for all assigned programs including without limitation the Primary Care Fund, and the Hospital Discounted Care law created in title 25.5, article 3, part 5 and other Department programs. Works closely with both external partners and other Department staff to conduct audits in accordance with established audit plan, developing formal audit findings and recommendations and delivering those findings and recommendations to audited providers, individuals and entities in those programs.
