Engineer Intern

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented Engineering Intern to support our environmental management, defense, national security and national laboratory customers in our Englewood, CO office.The engineering team you would be joining includes licensed professional engineers that are recognized technical experts in nuclear waste treatment, radioactive waste cleanup, environmental management, PFAS remediation and advanced clean energy solutions. Amentum provides integrated project lifecycle capabilities, operational excellence, consulting services, engineered solutions, best in class leaders and a reputation for delivery.Amentum Internships are designed to:

Introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience.

Assist in the preparation of project calculations.

Assist in the production of design drawings.

Performs all position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Working towards Bachelor of Science degree in from an ABET accredited university in engineering with a minimum of 90 credits.

Good oral and written communications skills.

Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.

Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Works independently and collaboratively with guidance and direction from others.

US Citizen (dual citizenship is not allowed).

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge and expertise in MathCad, Excel, and Word.

CompensationHIRING SALARY RANGE: $22 - $30 (Hourly) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
