Description We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accounting Manager in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado, United States. The role is mainly focused on the Family Office Services and Chief Financial Officer Services within the Accounting industry. The job function includes managing bank reconciliations, coding expenditures, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with insurance renewals among other tasks.Responsibilities: Oversee the process of reconciling bank statements, ensuring correct coding of all expenditures. Manage the downloading and coding of credit card statements. Supervise the posting of brokerage account activity for the month, summarizing total interest, dividends, capital gains and changes in the fair market value of assets. Ensure the efficient processing of capital calls for investments. Assist with insurance renewals such as homeowners, liability, etc. Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing cash receipts and expenditures. Handle the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including reviewing bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and updating prepaid account workpapers. Oversee the process of updating fixed asset records and posting depreciation. Review and update accounts payable and accrued liabilities. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of fair market value balance sheets. Skills: CPA QuickBooks Accounting Entries Accounting close process.Though this role is open to virtual work, the candidate must be local to Denver, CO metroRequirements Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is needed. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required. Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Entries is essential. Experience with the Accounting close process is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to supervise a team. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required. Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Knowledge of local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
