This is a Longterm Care opportunity that will be in Windsor Colorado for a non injury quadriplegic male 50 years of age name Jason, Jason is currently looking to fill two positions on his care team, Jason is relocating from Denver Colorado to Windsor Colorado, two of his longtime CNA caregiver’s are unable to transition to the new location.
Start date for both positions are January 2nd 2026.
Jason has a great care team and family support, Jason is a recipient of the CDASS program, potential candidates who are not a registered CDASS member will be required to participate in the program for this position, compensation during the enrollment period will be compensated at the same rate as the hourly rate by Jason’s family current CDASS program members are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Jason has two shifts that he is looking to fill, these shifts are listed as individual shifts but Jason is open to cross connecting the shifts for candidates that are looking for full time hours .
The first shift is:
Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 10:00 am @ $48.00 per hour
The morning shift consists of a complete bed bath, a heated towel wrap, oral care , a body rub with body lotion and a low maintenance breakfast usually consisting of yogurt, fruit and a muffin, and Jason’s choice of breakfast drink, medication assistance, hair care as needed, shaving as needed, and a bowel routine every other day (three times per week) during the week. Dress Jason in bed, a Hoyer Lift transfer to his battery powered chair, all tasks and transfer training will be provided, training pay rate will be the same as the hourly rate for the position. Training will be provided at the Denver location by Jason’s current Care team.
Second shift is a split shift
Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (noon) &
Saturday and Sunday 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm @ $35.00 per hour
The afternoon noon morning shift consists of the same tasks as mentioned above in the Monday through Friday morning shift with the exception of the bowel routine, only in an emergency or other situation would bowel routine be necessary on a Saturday or Sunday.
The afternoon shift consists of companionship, urinal assistance for urinating, snacks and drinks, dinner provided at Jason’s discretion, prepared, ordered, or dining out, all outside activities are provided in Jason’s wheelchair accessible vehicle, during the warm weather months Jason likes to go out and stroll in the park or a location that can accommodate his chair.
Evening care consist of Hoyer Lift transfer to his bed, oral care, change into bed attire, positioning with pillows and covering , a drink at Jason’s choice, and his television set to a movie or show of his choosing. Training for the weekend shifts will be at the Denver location by Jason’s current care team.
Jason’s care team has worked very closely together for a number of years, vacation time, personal and sick time is managed, arranged and decided between the care team with Jason’s approval which has always worked out for everyone.
Holidays are off with pay
Any special family outings will be shared in a reasonable time, with if any changes to your schedule.
Training for the weekend shift will be provided, compensation for training is at the same rate as the hourly rate.

This position is a long term commitment for skilled care workers, an agreement to provide a 60 day notice to separate from service will be signed by both sides of the agreement ; Jason and the Care Attendant.
