BARN MANAGER NEEDED $25 per hour paid weekly – Will be paid via Venmo, Check or Zelle.
10 horse barn
Min 5 hours per day, summers usually 7-8 hours
Monday thru Friday, occasional Saturday work during horse show season
Duties include
Cleaning horse stalls
Cleaning horse runs
Rebedding horse stalls
Cleaning and maintaining automatic waterers
Cleaning and maintain outdoor waters
Cleaning tack room
Oiling saddles and bridles
Holding horses for farrier every six weeks
Barn must be cleaned daily
Weed control on outside of barn and horse arena, and areas
Mowing – around property with zero turn and Brush Hog
Tractor- dumping manure daily
Skidsteer work- dirt moving when needed
Tractor- Disc harrowing 2-3 times per year
Maintaining feed in barn- making sure we have enough hay each week, be able to pick up hay from our ranch and restack appropriately.
Maintaining horse supplements- making sure we have enough each week
Drag and water arenas twice a week
Replacing mouse traps
Power washing barn
Beeswax stalls
Maintaining pastures
Fixing and repairing fences
Fixing and repairing stalls
Refilling fly control during summer months
Picking up feed and supplies from feed store and hay barn
Maintaining horse trailer and cleaning
Maintaining heating of arena during winters and making sure propane tanks are filled each week
Must be reliable during ALL weather patterns and have your own transportation. Must be able to lift 65-80 lbs, be able to work a tractor and implements. You must be comfortable around horses. General horsemanship is a must!
Must have positive attitude and be able to take direction from owner
