Job Description & Required Qualifications: Service Technician for small to mid-sized commercial refrigeration equipment. Experience in any area of refrigeration a plus. EPA certification Type II or better. Basic refrigeration training or experience. Will train on specific equipment. Work is 90% indoors beat the heat and cold.
Applicant must be able to work with the public; professional appearance & good personal hygiene are required. Applicant must have adequate phone skills, i.e. texting, email, Web searching. (Will train the right person.) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, operating power tools, equipment machinery. The ability to work in tight or small places from time to time. Ability to stand for 20% of the time, sit 20% of the time. Ability to work within varying temperatures depending on task and locations. Spaces may be noisy or crowded depending on task or locations.
Required Tools: Refrigeration gauges, hand tools screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers. We supply the major equipment to complete the job.
Work Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. On call rotation every 4-6 weeks after training (24/7 Mon. thru Sun.)
