Colorado Home Remodeling is seeking a Lead carpenter and general installer for the onsite management of all installs and carpentry. Carpentry in this case, means both structural and finish carpentry. Most of our jobs are remodels, reconfigurations, bathrooms, misc carpentry projects, restorations, and basements. Applicants would be expected to have at least 15 years experience, with at least 5 years of remodeling management experience.
CHR is a licensed and insured remodeling company, and this position will be a contract position and require a Certificate of Insurance (COI).
As envisioned, this job would be at least 1,200 hours a year, with a lot more possible depending on growth in 2024. The Carpenter lead is expected to have 100% of the hand tools needed, and at least 60% of the power tools needed as a rough guide.
We are looking for an instinctual carpenter and manager who is able to solve and have solutions for many jobsite challenges and carpentry quirks. If you know a lot of "Tricks of the Trade", you are probably a good candidate.
