Qualifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S
- Preferred 5 years of professional tree climbing and arboriculture industry experience.
- Able to perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully in normal and unfavorable weather conditions.
- Able to ascend/descend limb walking.
- Ability to communicate well and work effectively in a team environment.
- ISA certification preferred.
- First Aid, CPR and AED certification preferred.
Job Duties:
- Perform tree climbing and pruning operations using proper techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow tree care industry standard safety practices.
- Proficient in maintaining and safely operating bucket trucks, chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment.
- Identify tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ attributes.
- Conduct tree inspections to assess health, identify hazards, and determine appropriate actions prior to climbing.
Daily job duties will include pruning and removing trees, rigging, ground clean up, chipping, proper maintenance, and operation of tools/equipment (including chainsaws, chippers, bucket truck and more).
