Looking for experienced driver with a minimum of 3 years of driving and a clean driving record, applicant MUST have hopper trailer experience and hopefully some hay hauling experience. job will mainly be pulling hopper train (doubles) and driver will be out close to 3 weeks at a time and then home for 3-4 days for a break when pulling hoppers and/if you are pulling hay, he/she will be home on the weekends.
We are a small Mom and Pop operation with soon to be 3 trucks and can only offer 1 year vacation time for benefits, however, I'm not a micro manager by any means and don't want to babysit anyone because I drive as well and don't have time for it. No smoking allowed in trucks EVER and driver must keep cabs and equipment clean.
Trucks are newer long hood Peterbilt's with 565 hp and 18 speed manual transmissions with inverters and fridges and a single bed sleeper.
Applicant must be able to pass all drug and alcohol testing at all times and have a clean driving record and must have double/triple endorsement on their license.
We do haul some hay with 53' & 57' step decks from the Wyoming/Nebraska areas back to the Greeley Colorado areas, but our main hauls are with the hoppers from Wyoming, Utah and Idaho areas to the North Dakota and South Dakota areas.
Driver can live in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota.
