DescriptionBrown and Caldwell has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our
Project Delivery Systems team as a Senior Business Analyst. In this role,
you will apply your technical expertise to support and further enable the
success of hundreds of project delivery staff across a growing portfolio of
projects. In this role you will partner with the Project Delivery Systems team
to manage the various tools and systems used by project delivery teams.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working with the Project
Delivery Systems Leader to contribute to the management of various project
delivery tools and systems. Our goal is to proactively support the development
and implementation of improvements to our delivery systems and tools to enable
operation efficiency. The Senior Business Analyst delivers insight into system
capability to support key decisions and provides operational support and
delivery of business systems.

Typical work tasks could involve:
As a member of Project Delivery Systems, validate the business process and
management of systems and tools, ensuring it meets the needs of the
organization.
Identify, diagnose, and support resolution of bugs and issues within the
system.
Provide support and education to internal users.
Create, manage and prioritize user stories and product backlog items.
Participate and/or lead in grooming and testing of user stories with
business owners.
Document process, create user guides and communicate updates clearly.
Identify opportunities for enhancements to improve workflows and processes,
driving continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with users,
stakeholders and leadership.
Partner with the department to govern changes to systems including defining
system requirements, testing system changes, and managing the roll-out of
new system features.
Provide regular updates to leadership.
Create and maintain business process workflows.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in computer science, information technology, project management,
business or a related field OR 3-5 years of related experience as a Business
Analyst, product owner, and/or project management in a high performance
and dynamic team environment in lieu of the aforementioned degree.
Basic working knowledge of project management principles and business
operations, in consulting, engineering or related industry.
Strong self-motivation to solve problems, innovate and improve systems.
Strong listening skills, research skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing
skills.
Organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work and contribute as a member of a team and lead change in a
business environment
Strong skills using data to help answer difficult questions and support good
decision making.
Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks within established and
changing deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a member of a
team.
Patient and positive demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft 365.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in computer science, information technology, project management,
business or a related field.
Experience in Azure Dev Ops, MS Project and Dynamics is preferred.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based
on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending
upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in
the future.
Location A: $97,000 - $132,000
Location B: $106,000 - $145,000
Location C: $116,000 - $158,000
