Description We are in search of a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance sector, located in Loveland, Colorado. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you'll be tasked with handling a range of billing functions, including processing insurance claims and maintaining accurate patient records. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle accounts receivable (AR) and monitor customer accounts Process medical insurance claims and execute claim administration Address customer inquiries and resolve any billing issues Maintain accurate medical billing and collections records Use Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR System, and Epaces for various billing functions Conduct appeals where necessary Uphold the integrity of patient information and billing records. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in medical billing Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated ability to handle appeals process effectively Proficiency in various billing functions Familiarity with claim administration procedures Expertise in medical billing processes Experience in medical collections, including tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues Proficient in insurance billing, able to handle and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
