Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician for 5 Star Luxury Resort! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on individual properties and common community facilities in addition to ground maintenance including building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, and other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing or remodeling resort owned and operated buildings and facilities. Other duties to include H.V.A.C., pool/spa, irrigation and other mechanical systems may be asked of the technician. The successful candidate must have a friendly and helpful personality and positive can-do attitude in addition to the technical skills they bring to the job. Our first priority is to make our Property Owners and Guests feel that their concerns and inquiries are as important to us as they are to them and provide a great service to them for an affordable cost.
Duties:
Perform miner building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs as necessary
Grounds upkeep: Perform snow plowing operations including plowing and shoveling in winter and landscaping and irrigation services in the summer
Spa & Pool Maintenance: Routine checks and maintenance of 2 commercial spas and pool
Inspection Services: Preparing properties for Guest arrivals and follow up after departures to ensure properties are well maintained
Asset Management : Successful asset management of our Owner's property through timely and accurate completion of work order requests
Guest & Owner Interactions: Assist Guests at check in as necessary from anything to set up, cable, and internet issues
Quality Assurance: Follow routine maintenance checks on both HVAC and facilities systems, snowplow equipment, and vehicles
Maintain Resort Income: Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies, follow establish purchase order systems, assure proper work order billing is completed daily, and accurate estimates and timely completion of work order requests are prioritized
Strong Team Work: Communicate with fellow team members, management , and reservations departments to ensure prompt responses to Guest's and Owner's needs and follow up as needed
After Hours Availability: Ability to work second shift (2-10pm) as part of regular schedule to assist after hour check-ins and emergencies while attending to the common area needs and work orders that maybe generated during the second shift
Qualifications:
2 plus years in property management or facilities management experience preferred
Strong skill set in either the mechanical, electrical, or carpentry areas
Strong skill set in either irrigation and landscaping or snow removal services
CPO pool certification preferred but not required
Clean DMV and Colorado Drivers Licenses required
Physically able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to work without direct supervision and grow on knowledge gained to contribute to new process and improvements
Must have a collaborative team - oriented approach to problem solving
