Assemble HVAC equipment, (such as vents, tubing, ducts, fasteners, safety wires, forming, bonding, and motors) according to work instructions and drawings.
Progress products to be inspected and tested to ensure they meet aviation industry standards and quality specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.
Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain production schedules.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and achieve production goals.
Record and report assembly data, such as completed units, defects, and issues, to supervisors.
Maintain an understanding of HVAC and motor components specific to the aviation industry.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes.
Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or certification in HVAC, mechanics, or electrical assembly preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly, particularly in HVAC or motor systems, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with aviation industry standards and requirements is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to lift and move components weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
