Overview The Service Line Manager provides leadership in the formulation of service line strategy and growth programs to enhance sales growth and profitability. The Service Line Manager must have strong knowledge of customers, understand their needs, as well as a thorough understanding of the dynamics of selling these services in the marketplace. The incumbent will own the overall service line strategy, as well as be responsible for the team’s efforts in maximizing sales, profitability and continuing GeoStabilization International’s world-class customer satisfaction and relations. The proven ability to drive innovation from ideation through new service development process, identification of adjacencies, identification and execution of cost savings initiatives are highly valued. The successful candidate will have ambition, drive and strong technical knowledge, and experience in the engineered solutions management arena. Develop and execute service line strategies for assigned service lines in support of GSI’s innovation and end market initiatives as well as continuously seeking to expand the service lines as driven by marketplace needs and voice-of-customer interactions.
Drive new service development through the ideation process. This includes project management, service pipeline development (Service Line Roadmap Management).
Develop, implement, and refine the go-to-market strategies for the assigned service lines. Implement specific programs by service family that will increase field sales productivity, profitability, and market share including marketing campaigns and sales force training programs.
Work with the marketing communications team to support outbound marketing efforts, trade shows, new service launches and sales promotions.
Proactively engage with the Project Development organization to understand emerging service opportunities and to drive innovation.
Create effective training tools and materials, and participate in formal and informal training sessions with sales and support personnel, customers, consultants, etc.
Collaborate with and engage the engineering team to drive flawless execution of new service initiatives and cost savings programs.
Monitor and influence service levels to achieve customer delivery expectations, by actively connecting cross-functionally to understand market trends and develop service line forecast.
Provide sales and customer service line support as needed.
Perform any and all other duties and initiatives assigned with the same drive, determination and dedication to excellence.
Qualifications
Qualifications
MBA is required, preferably with engineering undergraduate degree.
7+ years of experience in the construction products, civil-engineering or geotechnical consulting industries
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Experience with or aptitude to understand financial analysis and accounting principles
Aptitude and affinity for technical product details, including the ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals and drawings.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, think analytically, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to communicate clearly with team, conduct presentations, and be flexible and organized
Ability to work and influence cross-functionally across multiple teams

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
