This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining ProtoTrak lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, proficiency in interpreting blueprints, and the ability to work independently to achieve production goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Produce precision quality parts machining a variety of materials to engineering specification (SS304, 316L, aluminum and a variety of plastics, etc.).Ability to read and interpret prints.Review Production Status Report and complete orders as needed.Perform own setups.Follow check list: shop employee pre-Inspection prior to work stepPunch job in ERP systemVerifying final dimensions with print, by using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges.Perform repair and preventative maintenance on shop equipment.Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.Promote customer focus
