This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 5-Axis CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, proficiency in interpreting blueprints, and the ability to work independently to achieve production goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines.Produce precision quality parts machining a variety of materials to engineering specifications (SS304, 316L, aluminum and a variety of plastics, etc.).Ability to read and interpret prints (ISO – First Angle Projection and metric system).Perform own setups.Review Production Status Report and complete orders as needed.Record job in ERP system (scanning bar code)Follow check list: shop employee pre-Inspection prior to work stepInspect work completed on CNC 5-Axis Machines for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges.Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e., shoes, eyewear, gloves, masks, shields, and coats) if needed.Perform light preventative maintenance tasks on CNC Machines to maintain machinery performance and prevent machine downtime.Maintain a clean work environment (including assigned storage and cleaning duties) in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.Promote customer focus
