Description: This Quality Supervisor (QS) position supportingthe Aerostructures Product Center in Bridgeport, CTon 1st Shift. The QS is responsible for allaspects of quality supervision of inspectionhourly associates for Aerostructures. Theposition will report to the Aerostructures QualityManager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business.The candidate will provide leadership to hourlypersonnel as appropriate supporting the SikorskyBack Shop Quality organization. The QS willprovide leadership through identification andimplementation of process improvementinitiatives in these areas that support the QualityOrganization’s key performance measurements,vision and strategy. Additional responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following: Managing collaboration efforts with DCMA forcontract statement of work compliance to thequality management system, non-conformingmaterial, and corrective actions Managing the grievance escalation process asappropriate. Maintaining a collaborative relationship withthe Local 1150; Manage the training scheduling of the hourlyassociates. Managing metrics detailing hourly work forcelabor hour activities. Supporting the execution and achievement ofall applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMSSikorsky business objectives.US Citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications:Appropriate degree from an accredited college,or equivalent experience/combined education.Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions,set priorities and provide succinct direction in adynamic business environment.Experience developing and maintaining positiveworking relationships with customers.Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills.Strong communication skills.US Citizenship is required.Desired Skills:Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and proceduresrelated to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.).Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreementas applicable.Talent development and team building skillsDemonstrated ability to drive processimprovement and drive change.Strong working knowledge of problemsolving/root cause analysis and processmanagement.Clearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
