Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstHumana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Project Manager 2 to manage all aspects of enterprise level non-technical program implementations, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Project Manager 2 designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing non-technical programs, monitors progress and performance against the implementation plan, and takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete implementations.

Prepares designs and work specifications; develops implementation schedules, budgets, and forecasts; selects materials, equipment, implementation staff, and external contractors.

Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the implementation.

Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the implementation.

Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates implementation staff to meet implementation targets and milestones.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Maintains program implementation management tools (i.e., status updates, workplans, RAID logs, Q/A Logs, etc.) in accordance with established guidelines/procedures.

Provides administrative support for program implementation teams.

Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant work experience.

Two (2) or more years of formal project management experience with large size initiatives implementing non-technical projects.

Two (2) or more years of experience working in a managed care healthcare system.

Must be able to work a schedule in eastern or central standard time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Smartsheets.

Experience working with Medicaid requirements and guidelines.

PMP or PMI-ACP certifications.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

Additional Information

Workstyle: This is a remote position.

Travel: Role may include limited travel to a Humana office location possibly outside your state of residence.

Core Workdays & Hours: Typically, Monday - Friday; 8:00am -5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. occasional nights and weekends).
