Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the insurance industry, based in Hartford, Connecticut. As a Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the task of managing data migration projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of project deadlines. Responsibilities: Lead the data migration process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data Collaborate with various stakeholders, keeping them informed and involved in project processes Coordinate and execute project timelines to meet strict deadlines Utilize your expertise in the insurance industry to align project goals with business objectives Apply budget processes knowledge to effectively manage project costs Leverage your skills in change management to ensure smooth transitions during project implementation Engage in negotiations and collaborations with third parties when necessary Monitor and manage potential risks and issues, implementing mitigating actions as needed Ensure all project activities adhere to industry standards and company policies.Requirements Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry. Proven ability in managing budgets and financial processes. Experience in data migration projects. Strong change management skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Demonstrated understanding of industry regulations and standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Professional certification in project management is a plus.
