Immediate opening for full time / part time line cook with grill and saute' station experience. Must be available to work week-ends for our event hall. We are an upscale established events hall located in Redding, CT. A good work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to being a reliable, responsible team player is desired.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Following recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations.
Coordinating food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety -
Servsafe certification or similar is a plus
Meeting special guest requests while ensuring same high quality standards.
Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown.
Maintain a clean and neat work station
Job Requirements:
Preferred experience as a prep or line cook.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
Applicants must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
Basic math and written communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
