Description Position Title: Executive Assistant (Legal)Position Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a key principal within their organization.Location: Washington, DC. (hybrid schedule, 2 days from home)About the role: Our client is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to advancing civil and human rights, with a focus on combating anti-Semitism and promoting justice. They engage in research, education, and legal advocacy to address issues on college campuses, in the workplace, and beyond.Responsibilities:

Schedule and organize meetings, send reminders, and coordinate catering as needed.

Maintain and manage the executives' calendars, prioritizing appointments and sensitive matters.

Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.

Handle and distribute mail and emails, ensuring timely follow-up.

Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, ground transportation, and accommodations, and ensure thorough communication.

Maintain an organized electronic filing system.

They must be proactive in administrative decision-making and possess exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic presentation and processing tools is required.

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role, ideally in a law firm setting

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word).

Ability to answer inbound and outbound calls professionally.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in email correspondence.

Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively, including electronic calendar management.

Experience in handling travel arrangements including booking and coordinating travel.

Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
