The Enterprise Architect is responsible for ensuring that AmeriCorps’ overall IT architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality. The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to ensure that the respective business, application, data, and technology perspectives are in line with the organization’s technology and governance strategies, policies, and standards.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Serves as key technical expert in an area of expertise or across multiple areas, providing strategic consulting to AmeriCorps
Work with the infrastructure and architecture team to ensure that new technologies work with existing infrastructure
Introduce new and exciting technologies to a customer that is ready to implement change
Focus on maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure and information systems to both create and implement AmeriCorps’ technology strategy and vision
Work closely with the CyberSecurity Lead to secure the network and eliminate vulnerabilities

Ability to conduct Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) and provide recommendations on business and technical feasibility of existing systems enhancements and new systems build vs buy decisions.
Align technology solutions design and architecture to business needs around process standardization and integration.
Conduct Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) reviews and build enterprise level technical standards and frameworks.
Understanding of Architecture models like DoDAF, FEA, Zachman, and TOGAF

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
