If you are ready to advance your career to the next level, this is the job you have been waiting for!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe County Children Youth Families Program Specialist 1 performs comprehensive and intensive service reviews for all Children Youth Services (CYS) programs. Your focus will be to compile, analyze, evaluate, and summarize data. You will make recommendations for best case practices and system improvements as a result of trends, strengths, challenges and/or obstacles identified in such data. You will have the opportunity to interview program office and provider agency staff, consumers, and their families to gather information concerning service delivery, service outcomes, and service coordination. Work includes identifying trends and areas of strength or needed improvements in support of achieving performance goals.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional level experience in the field of children, youth and families; and a bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.

Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
