Early Career Implementation Specialist

This OpportunityWSP is currently intiating a search for an Early Career Implementation Specialist to work in our Houston, TX office. Other WSP office will be considered for exceptional candidates. Working with a wide range of internal and external clients, the Implementation Specialist will configure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) software.Your Impact

Configure EHS & ESG software per design specifications

Perform unit testing of EHS & ESG software to verify configuration per design specifications and end to end system testing with support as needed

Develop reports, dashboards and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools

Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings

Develop technical documentation, training materials, test scripts and legacy data mapping for customers and/or project teams

Support customers through UAT

Perform data migration and cleansing activities

Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment and rollout activities

Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities

Complete training on assigned tasks.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Bachelor’s Degree with science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.

0-1 years’ experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).

Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations, applying logic, and making decisions.

Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.

Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
