Management Analyst (IB)Washington, DC, USA Req #149Monday, December 30, 2024We are seeking a Management Analyst to support the Investigation Branch on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) contract located in Washington, DC. ASRC Federal provides information security, enterprise architecture, software development and health IT solutions to federal government customers. Researches procedures on how to obtain and conducts investigative leads IAW Federal Investigative Standards

Conducts continuous review of pending leads

Submits follow-up requests

Updates PSD’s case-management system with investigative results

Maintains agency contact listing in PSD’s CMS (AIME) with contact information and procedures to submit requests

Tracks and documents result(s) of pending FBI Name and Internal Revenue Service checks and advises federal staff upon receipt of derogatory information

Conducts and documents intelligence and classified systems indices checks

Analyzes reports of investigation, determines, and sends Investigator Integrity Questionnaires to sources interviewed during investigations

Exhibits excellent customer service, as well as professional, clear, and concise communication when reaching out to federal, state, and local counterparts for information

Evaluates, recommends, develops, and/or modifies new and ongoing procedures to improve and/or streamline activities, actions and tasks associated with management analyst responsibilities

Develops thorough policies, operating procedures, and manuals

Keeps abreast of ongoing personnel security reform efforts, mandates, and guidelines

Prepares and provides reports regarding program statistics

Researches existing reports, files, directives, etc. to obtain accurate and relevant information

Clarifies assignments and program responsibilities with PSD personnel using well-developed oral communication skills; similarly, participates in discussions and advises on and recommends changes to policy, regulation, procedures, and other important programs

Assists Branch Chiefs and federal employees

Requirements

Excellent customer/client handling skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Working knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PPT; database experience

Strong interpersonal skills; written and oral communications skills

Excellent time management ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Ability to pass a government issued background check

Education/Experience:

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience

Examples include: experience serving as a resource on pension law and benefits administration, and providing technical or factual information to peers, plan participants and other customers. Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position.
