As the Director of External Marketing at Smithbucklin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our external marketing strategies. Working with the Chief Marketing Officer and other executive stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, enhancing our reputation, and engaging our target audience through innovative marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in brand and content marketing, as well as exceptional leadership skills. What You Will Do

Develop and execute comprehensive external marketing strategies to enhance Smithbucklin's brand visibility and reputation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and objectives.

Lead the development of compelling content across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print, to engage target audiences and drive customer acquisition.

Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers, to support sales and business development efforts.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and regularly report on progress to senior leaders.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; field of study in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism

A minimum of 15 years of marketing communications experience required.

Supervisory experience required.

Microsoft 365 skills proficiency required.

Experience working in professional services setting preferred.
