Responsibilities The Funds Management Specialist exists to provide financial support and budgetary services to an office or department within the Museum. In this position, you will: Provide assistance to leadership, under close supervision, in all operations of the unit, andthose in association with the Museum, Smithsonian, or scientific community, financialand administration support for unit research programs, budget preparation and allocation,requests and justifications, etc. Create basic budget, spending plans, and projections on various funds ranging fromFederal allocations to a variety of trust funds (grants, contracts, gifts, endowments,discretionary).
