Seeking a caregiver/companion to accompany our smart and active 18-year-old son with autism to daily activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Saturdays. Duties include picking him up from home, going with him to day programs and bringing him home. Must have own transportation. Caregiver will participate in various activities with him during the day: calisthenics, yoga, hiking, reading, art, games, etc. and also accompany him to different places in the community with peers. Hours are 9:30-2:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and flexible on Saturdays. Paid training provided.
Skills/education: at least one year of experience working w/children or teens with disabilities, high school diploma required, some college preferred.
