The Center for Autism Support and Training (CAST) www.centerforautismsupportandtraining.com is looking for a female employee and/or paid college intern that wants to provide one to one support for a teen with autism in Silver Spring. Provide training and mentorship to individuals in activities of daily living and a range of goals that help them improve in the areas of hygiene, recreation, chores, community activities, communications, use of money and more.
This position is an afternoon and evening shift position from 2:30 – 7:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Applicants should have their own car and car insurance, and should be caring, warm. self-motivated, flexible individuals.
Must pass a Federal/State background check.
Experience ensures a higher salary, but we provide training.
Hourly rates vary depending on experience levels, but salaries are in the range of $19-$24 per hour.
