Khanna Law, PLLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate PART TIME OF COUNSEL to join our family law practice. We are a busy and fast paced law firm with a laid back and supportive work environment (but we do work hard) and are looking for someone who can join us as Part Time Of Counsel and work their way to a full time associate. This is a great position for someone with a few years of experience as a solo practitioner who is looking to move into an associate position.
Responsibilities
Handle divorce, child custody, alimony, and child support matters.
Attend court and handle non-complex family law cases.
Ensure compliance with our firm policies, procedures and practices.
Ensure that all assigned cases are handled competently and in a timely manner.
Draft legal documents, represent clients in court in custody, divorce, child support and spousal support matters.
Requirements
JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active Bar License in Virginia (in good standing)
Experience handling family law cases.
Computer proficiency, including expertise in Word and Excel.
Miscellaneous
The firm will provide malpractice insurance for all cases you handle on behalf of the firm.
The firm will not provide any employee benefits including but not limited to holiday pay, vacation pay, health insurance, medical insurance, or life insurance.
