Office Manager – Dental Office
Location: Fauquier county
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, accounts management, and dental/medical office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports
Create and process invoices
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
Follow up on outstanding accounts and payments
Verify dental insurance benefits and apply payments to patient accounts
Support the dental team with administrative and operational needs
Ensure smooth office operations and compliance with office policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Office Administration, or related field
Prior experience in dental or medical office management preferred
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in office software (Dentrix) and dental management systems, willing to train the right person on Dentrix and Vyne dental and Weave software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes
